Block Admin
Set up the Block in SWM and keep it running: GPs, facilities, SHGs, configuration and staff.
As Block Admin you set up your Block in SWM and keep it up to date. You also see everything the BDO sees (BDO guide).
Setting up a new Block
The Platform Admin creates the Block with its first GPs and invites you. Then, in this order:
GPs and wards: check every GP and its number of wards. How
Facilities: the PWM unit first, then each SWM unit with the GPs it serves and the PWM unit it sends to. How
SHGs: each SHG with its GPs and members; who operates each facility. How
Configuration: waste categories, destinations and off-take partners, complaint categories. Waste · Complaints
People and roles: invite the BDO, facility managers, GP Officers and staff, SHG Supervisors. How
Field app: share the download with facility managers and SHG Supervisors. How
Home shows the Block setup checklist; each item turns green when it is done. The Platform Admin activates the Block when it has at least one GP and one Block Admin; citizens can then use the portal.
