Working offline

The field app saves records on the phone without a network and sends them when it connects.

The field app keeps working without a network. When you save a record offline:

  • it is saved on the phone, encrypted, and the bar at the top says how many records are waiting;
  • a consignment gets a provisional reference to write on the truck slip;
  • when the phone connects, the app sends everything by itself. Send now sends at once.

The Sync tab lists records still on the phone. If the server could not accept one (for example the consignment was already received on another phone), the draft says why and what you can do: edit and send again, keep it for reference, share it as text, or discard it.

Do not uninstall the app or clear its data while records are waiting: they would be lost. Signing out keeps them for your next sign-in.
