| Ward | ওয়ার্ড | वार्ड | A part of a GP. |
| SHG | স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠী (এসএইচজি) | स्वयं सहायता समूह (एसएचजी) | Self-help group that collects waste and often runs an SWM unit. |
| SWM unit | এসডব্লিউএম ইউনিট | SWM इकाई | Solid waste management unit: receives and segregates waste. |
