Measured and estimated

Every quantity says whether it was weighed or estimated, and reports show how much was estimated.

Every quantity in SWM is measured (weighed on a scale) or estimated (judged by eye, by count of bags, or from a usual load). Choose the right one when you record: it is never guessed for you.

Totals keep track of both. A figure marked, for example, 8% estimated means 8% of it came from estimates. Aim to weigh what you can: estimates make the Block's figures less certain.

Quantities can be entered in kg, quintal (100 kg) or tonne (1000 kg). SWM stores them to 0.1 kg.
