BDO / Block Officer
See where the Block's waste went, check consignments and balances, read reports, and question records.
As the BDO or Block Officer you oversee the whole Block. SWM shows you:
- where the waste went in any period, from intake to what was sold or discarded;
- consignments between the SWM and PWM units, and any differences at receipt;
- the material balance of each finalised PWM period;
- reports by facility, GP, operator and day, and how complaints were handled;
- what needs attention: open flags, stock below zero, late consignments.
You can question any record with a flag; the facility manager responds. You do not change records yourself.
Your week
- Open Overview and look at Needs attention now.
- Check Consignments With a difference: each difference is explained by the PWM manager.
- Read Flags: close those where the response settles your question.
- Once a month, read Reports and Complaint handling, and download the CSV for your records.
