Finalise a period
Count the unprocessed stock, check the material balance, explain differences and lock the period.
A period closes the PWM unit's books: what came in, what was processed, and what is left. Finalise one at least every 45 days; the BDO is told when it is late.
On the home screen press Finalise period. The period starts the day after the last one ended.
Choose Period ends.
Unprocessed material counted now: weigh or estimate each category in stock now.
Press Check the balance. The app shows the Material balance.
If a difference shows (Δ1 or Δ2), write Explain the difference. Press Finalise and lock.
Δ1 (per category): opening + received − processed − counted now. Δ2: processed − outputs − rejects − loss. Once finalised, the period is locked and the BDO sees it under Material balance. See Stock and periods.
